e-GEOS is an Earth observation and geospatial information company owned by Telespazio (80%) and the Italian Space Agency (20%). It is the exclusive worldwide distributor of COSMO-SkyMed, the X-band radar satellites of the Italian Space Agency and the Italian Ministry of Defence, and operates the civilian user ground segment at the Matera Space Centre. Its work covers the whole chain from acquisition to analytics: radar and optical processing, SAR interferometry for ground deformation, mapping, maritime surveillance and rapid mapping for emergencies. With its German subsidiary GAF, e-GEOS employs more than 500 people.
